Rammstein

Rammstein is a band from Berlin, Germany formed in 1994. As of 2009 they sold over 15 million records worldwide. Rammstein will be be going on a small 12 show North American tour starting May 5th, 2011. On May 10th, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Rammstein will be taking the stage at 8 p.m. Get your tickets now!!

The Academy

     Last Sunday, February 27, was the night of the 83rd Annual Academy Awards. Tons of celebs flooded the Red Carpet that night, wearing stunning gowns and top of the line tuxedos. My favorite gown of the evening was worn by Mila Kunis. She wore a lavender chiffon gown by Elie Saab Haute Couture. Click here to read more about Mila's gown. 

    Another "best dressed" in my book is Natalie Portman. She wore a violet silk gown from Rodarte. She looked as stunning as ever. Click here to read more about Natalie's gown.

     This year there was a total of ten films nominated for Best Picture of the Year. These include: Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, The King's Speech, 127 Hours, Toy Story 3, The Social Network, True Grit, and Winter's Bone. The Oscar went to Colin Firth's The King's Speech. 

    One of my favorite all time favorite movies had three nominations. Johnny Depp's Alice in Wonderland took 2 out of the 3 Oscars it was nominated for. The 3 nominations were for Art Direction, Costume Design, and Visual Effects. It took the Oscar for Art Direction and Costume Design. The Oscar from Visual Effects went to Inception, which is also a fantastic film. To view results of the Oscars, click here.

     The Oscars were hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco this year. They did a fantastic job, keep audiences world-wide hooked. They also had a fabulous introduction to the awards show.
